About two weeks ago, I ran across the Independent Film Channel website and realized this would be a perfect "home" for our favorite Independents... So I sent them an email and just received their response today... See below.

Dear IFC...

You may already be a fan of Joss Whedon's short-lived 2002 Sci-Fi series "Firefly" and the sequel movie "Serenity" relesed in 2005.

As a "Browncoat" [a fan of the Firefly 'Verse] I am one of many tens of thousands of die-hard fans of the series and movie.

Please consider adding the series and/or movie to your programming line-up.
It's an "independent" show for an Independent channel.
