Well, my parent's lied to me...Gee, what a shocker!

They tell my they're going to stop getting on my case about exercizing after work and allow me to do it on my own time. Now I admit I need to do it more often, but pushing me into it just makes me shut down and NOT want to listen to them. So, WHY would they then turn around the next week and try to push me when I've told them it doesn't work?In my defense,I have gone biking and I have exercised a hell of a lot more often then I used to. Any parents want to chime in on the whole pushing kids enough to make them shut down thing?
