Well, I've certainly had worse days...

41, single, female,currently living in a small backwards town near a large backwards city in NSW Australia with aging crazed Sicilian parents and their hilarious cat Theo while i finnish degree in Speech Pathology.
work: before and aftreschool care and vacation care with 5-12 year olds. used to be a program director but now am doing it as a casual assistant while i study. Hard for me to remove my "captains hat". Have also worked in respite care supporting families with special needs kids. Interests: Bugs, travel, observing people, Sci Fi,loved Firefly the second i first saw it. I could happily and functionally exist in that world... I'm sure it resonates the same way for others on the fringe.
I do a lot of textile based crafts (leather work, felting. etc) and am clothes and accessories obsessed, I have food texture issues so am a fussy eater...My parents are thrilled I've started eating olives.
