Hey all. Long time no... anything. 
I'm settling in at my new place, but job opportunities have been limited. As a result, I'm toying with the idea of opening my own portrait studio for commission work. A slightly terrifying prospect, but infinitely more palatable than retail drudge work. I'm old and set in my ways, and I don't take orders well. This way I can be my own boss and make a living doing something I actually like.

My regional television station finally screened Firefly in early 2005 (at the impossible time of 12:OO at night - sometimes later). So, having been a Buffy and Angel fan for years, I'd heard about this other Joss show and thought I'd check it out.
I was hooked from minute one!
