...has anybody happened to make a list of all the songs used in all the episodes? I seem to remember there's quite a bit of good music not included on the Buffy soundtracks.

I've been meaning to do it myself, but I'm lazy so I was hoping someone else had been obsessively proactive

Just Google 'buffy music'. There are lots of sites with lists, though most I've seen are incomplete.

I just bought Dusted: The Unauthorized Guide to Buffy the Vampire Slayer it has every song in order of each episode and the band names. Very interesting read also!

There used to be some sites where you could download a lot of the Buffy music. They are all gone now. I have 11 (yes 11!) burnt CDs filled with Buffy music with some cool sound clips from the show mixed in. For years those CDs were about the only thing I listened to.

also http://www.duncanmusic.com/buffy.html has some of the instumental from the last season

You could buy the soundtrack albums, or look up the artist's names and buy their albums.

I just double checked--both the download sites are gone now. I also had to buy some CDs for some songs that weren't on the sites or soundtracks. And some just couldn't be found anywhere. I mixed in a lot of sound bytes too, like Spike singing "My Way" and a lot of Buffy/Angel conversations.
A lot of the songs you can probably buy from itunes or musicmatch etc. I just checked musicmatch and they do have Sprung Monkey (all the lame songs from Buffy Season 1)and "Inconsolable" by Jonatha Brookes (the song playing when Buffy is sad because the prophecy says the Master will kill her). Those are kind of obscure so I'm sure you can find more.

thank you so much for this sight! i have a question, the songs in Wild at Heart, are these the songs that Shy supposedly performed? Because of course we all hate Veruka, but I loved the music from her "band"
