It's strange that's all I have to say. I just remembered today that Alyson Hannigan and Seth Green were in My Stepmother Is an Alien. It was so strange for their characters to date in that movie while Willow and Oz dated...
That's all I have to say. Any comments or additions to this subject?

Well, yes, that is true. It was an odd coinscidence, I must say. I remember watching that movie again. . . I couldn't stop laughing cause I pictured Oz and Willow, not Seth and Aly's characters. . . . .
As far as your overall topic, I think I'm a bit brain-muddled. Do you mean just a broad overall discussion of Buffy casting in general? And, if so, what about it?

No, just people from Buffy who were casted together in a movie or show before Buffy or during. Stuff like that.
Example:
Julie Benz (Darla) and Danny Strong (Jonathon) were in "Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth".

They both also appeared on the That's 70's Show,
but not together at the same time...
not that that means anything...

*laughs* I bet they'll end up being on the same episode on That 70's Show...
I totally forgot about that. They were so cute on there! ^-^

They didn't interact. Her part in the film was mostly cut out. Now, all that's left is a shot that breezes past her in which she stares fixatedly on a bannana.

O__O I knew it!! Last time I saw the movie I asked myself if I indeed saw her in that movie. B/c it looked like her. Now I know *laughs*

I remember rewinding and pausing my tv (ah, the joy of tivo...) and just staring at her. It took me a while to process that it was her. I then had to sit there through the rest of the flick to try and catch her again . . . . alas, she was cut. Dang it! lol

Also, Eliza Dushku, Amber Benson, and Lindsay Crouse were all in "Bye Bye Love" way back in the day. Lindsay Crouse played Amber Benson's mother and Amber and Eliza played old friends. It's classic. :)
