There were a couple of minor, pesky sub messages I could have done w/ out , but over all, a decent pilot.

Like Jewel, Adam could stand to put on a few , and still look awesome.

what a great interview... Adam never comes across with an ego..he expressed his appreciation for the Navy in helping with the production and for the military in it's real life obligations.
He was faithful to his employer and was able to quickly an concisely explain the context of the show.
He comes across as nothing less than sincere and a truly great guy.
very well done and I'm glad to see him working in yet another series...
I enjoyed the pilot...made a point to watch it cause one of my Firefly crew were in it... I'm determined to always do that...but I did enjoy the pilot well enough to follow into the season.

So far, pretty decent show. Has a bit of Hunt for Red October feel to it as well.
It's funny, cause as I'm watchin, I simultaneously think of scenes where Joss would have added a neat plot twist, or ( obviously ) killed off a fav character.
