It sure looks like to me that because of testosterone, and accompanying various genes, that statistically men aren't AS capable of self-control. Notice the AS word in there. Wish, look at your numbers and then remember if half of this country is men. Then there are 150 million here. How small do those numbers look now. Then also remember it is the same guys doing it more than once.

I've tried to explain that on a number of different topics with Wish, mostly involving sensationalism in the news media. She appears to think that if there's smoke, there's fire. I'm not sure you're going to be able to convince her.
The end result of this conversation is someone saying that we must just not care about the rapes that do happen and someone else suggesting the first person go engage in fornication with themselves in the most profane manner, and then the second person flounces off the board for five months and comes back with a ridiculous and obnoxious amount of resentment and whininess. It's pretty much inevitable and I've seen it happen too many times.

Not always. Many kinds of fuel are in fact smokeless - sometimes even flameless. They can burn you depending on the chemical composition and temperature though.
Also depending on the chemicals, a sort of aerosol might form that could appear to be smoke, but without fire or burning or even high temperatures.
They can be explosive however, due to the nature of fine particulates and static buildup.
