But - uhm - so many people don't know much. In fact, they believe what they've been told rather than look at the facts. If people are to be free, how do you reverse and prevent them from being misled?

I really don't see a way. Just look at AURaptor... his fear & need for an enemy... his excuse for previous wrongs committed by his 'side' and his condemnation of the present dickwad admin for simply doing the same... he's a prefect example of divide & conquer, and no facts or attempts at a balanced view or discussion will cause him to *think* in any way.
It's how it's always been.
They own us.

On the brighter side, we have cool smartphones & shit now!

I like a little bread with my circus.

The only system that can ever work is one with a serious amount of balances and checks on it.

So you're assuming that anyone who runs a capitalist enterprise is interested only in making a profit? That they might not also be interested in benefiting their employees or their locality or the environment or education, etc.?

Seems a sort of either/or view of the world and people on your part.

Also violates Number 6 of Chris' Ten Commandments of Logic: Thou shall not reduce the argument down to two possibilities. (false dichotomy)

That is the very premise of capitalism. Those who do not make THE MOST profit will succumb to those that do.
