Hate to see ya go, but people come and go from all sites for many reasons. I have other interests then Firefly. I know Firefly isn't likely going to return other then in comic book form, Joss, Tim and the rest of the cast are busy with other projects that will keep them busy for years. But this is a great site about a great show that I miss so if you return I'll likely still be here.

According to my estimation, 'MIKER' was here to make this place a bit more interesting for a time to the person who created him. But, with mission accomplished, the strain on maintaining any sense of consistency, which was thin to begin with, was a little too irritating. Hence the dramatic and reprimandive flounce out.

Well, if we do get another soon all you have to do is look for the inconsistencies. Most dimwits aren't very good at thinking like anyone other than themselves. So while IDing the creator may be a bit difficult, spotting a phoney character is pretty easy IMO.

Personally, all I'm looking for is a good discussion. Someone who can offer some info, or history, or idea, or opinion; who can substantiate or explain what they post; read what others have to offer; discuss with others the merits of facts on all sides; and do so with at least some equanimity.

Oh my god, no, not an american invasion. Does that mean that I might wake up one morning and find there were American bases on our land, and that every where I looked there would be American businesses, advertising, movies, televion, fashion, language. Sorry to see you go as well. This place stagnates pretty quickly without a jolt from contrary types such as yourself. I thought you were plenty thoughtful and made your cases well - sometimes, when other people don't like what you say all they have is denial and dislike - "I didn't like him," said Small Person.
If I was to be critical it would be: YOU LET THEM GET TO YOU. That would suggest their opinions are worthy of producing that kind of feeling. They are not.
