So if rebooting with a new main cast, who do you think?
Kaylee - I was thinking how great Elizabeth Olsen would be, but hadn't seen her in scifi - but now looks like she's in Godzilla.
Inara - Rose Byrne, Melissa Fumero.
River - Elle Fanning, Emma Watson, Zendaya (?sp?), Sarah Butler.
Simon - Zac Efron?
Mal - Tim Hutton, Jim Caviezel. remember he's written as older.
Book - Scott Bakula.
Wash - Don Cheadle.
Zoe - Paige Turco, Sarah Shahi.
Janye - Dwight Yoakum, Kevin Durand.

I find it highly unlikely. It sounds like he may have a cameo - possibly even as a Nova Corp member - but I doubt they're going to cast Nathan as a character who's pretty much always been depicted in his late teens-early 20s.

Not really, I was thinking that neither Sean nor Simon needed to get released from rehab to get on with the show. But Zac might have paid more attention to the show and the character than others his age.
