Says her husband died a few months ago and they were married 50 years.

Anyone think that's gonna happen to Shia or Lindsay? I don't think so.

I liked Heidi and The Little Princess when I was a kid.

A generation grew up with her as a bright spot on the silver screen, during real tough times. Sad to hear of her passing.

The article said that Temple was credited with helping save 20th Century Fox from bankruptcy with films such as "Curly Top" and "The Littlest Rebel." Since Firefly was a 20th Century Fox Television show, without Shirley Temple Firefly might never have been made.

Disney might be buying Firefly, but Serenity was a Universal property. Are you saying Universal already sold Serenity to Disney?

Shouldn't there be anti-trust and monopoly laws against this sort of thing?

It's funny that my friend got a book from the Onion Newspaper from his parents back in the late 90's that had section with headline predictions in it in the back and the last page pretty much predicted this.

I didn't know that "Serenity" belongs to Universal.
Disney may acquire "Firefly."

I dunno if they'd find that too cool & have to reboot it.
But it suddenly occurs to me that their version would be animated.
With any luck, they'd get our BDHs to do the voice acting.
