Dad Update: He's in surgery even as we speak - has been for about 3 hours (went in at 7:00 AM Central). They got the "standby" call yesterday at about 3:00P and the hospital said if they could get down there last night, he could get in and get it done this morning.
I'm at work for a couple hours to tie up some loose ends, but I'm headed out. I don't know what my online-ability will be for the next few days. That means if anyone needs to borrow Rowan for a scene during the weekend, you have my permission. So long as she doesn't end up nekkid, walking a tight rope on her hands or some such...
