Dad Update (feel free to ignore):
His surgery is scheduled for October 29, which is the Friday before Halloween. Get this though, he's also on "standby." That means that if someone cancels, he can get in and have it done sooner. Does that sound right to anyone else? This is open-heart surgery we're talking about, and they make it sound like he could stand around the hospital with an open-ended pass to the surgical theater or something. It's just crazy.
Classes have begun, but I only have to be at school Mondays and Wednesdays now. I have two online courses this quarter, but we get to do those one at a time. In short, I should be around more often, but don't quote me on it.
