I don't wholly concur with their conclusions, but Alternet just reposted a bit by the more conservative Salon, which imma post here more or less just to wind em up, cause the methodology of the thing was much more scientific, and wound up making the opposite argument.
It DOES however, show pretty clearly that the original Esquire poll was more or less a propaganda push combined with golden mean fallacy though.
