Dad Update: He has to have valve replacement AND bypass surgery. Probably in October if the doctors can get it woven into the schedule. Dad's in good health otherwise, so this should go really well. I'm told it's a 6-7 hour procedure, though, since they're doing both at once. Needless to say, I won't be available that day. I think he's feeling pretty darn mortal right now. You can see it in his eyes. He and Mom are still at the house, getting a little more rest before the drive home. They've had a rough couple of days. Hopefully Simon won't take offense at the closed door (that's my cat - he despises closed doors) and leave them alone.

Capn: My fan fic is soon coming to an end, so I'd like to do two things: post Rowan and Xiang's story up to when she last saw him and a short story about Andreas Boucheron. Neither story should allude to anything having to do with the current or future events of the RP.

Merz: I do still have that piece you sent me. Thanks for the reminder - I'm moving the update to my jump drive. I've been ruminating, and I'm hoping to spend time on it this weekend, along with the drunk scene Squee and I crafted. Seems to me this one will come first, then the drunk scene. I need to start taking notes again.

I haven't been getting too descriptive about Jayne's work, because I'm honestly not sure what he's building. =) Doesn't matter to me, though. I don't have to understand it for Jayne to.
