Hey Capn - Just an FYI, Rowan's only going to see a quick message from Thal - little more than a call back, really.
"Exile - Wave received. Searching. Will wave back with whatever. Good to hear from you bao bei."
THEN we'll get into the other message we're working on. Maybe. I don't know how much I want Rowan knowing concerning the whereabouts of Xiang at the moment. Thal's message seems more appropriate after the Rowan/Damon drunk scene.

Coordinating time is why awhile back I started 'timeticks' labeled AMT, for Alliance Mean Time. It would be the same as somebody using GMT {Greenwich Mean Time} here on earth to coordinate a simultaneous 'action'. As you probably know, GMT is the 'zero' point for time calculation here on Terra and was easily adapted to Firefly. Now, just gotta figger out which world is the AMT zero point - Arial?!. 
Maniac: I know what ya mean - with Deb and Will here, we all have been catching up on 20 years and meeting the new companions! No real time to RP, a week goes by REAL fast when on vacation!
Channain: The only info on Xiang is what I sent - the rest won't come up until the end of Serenity Vacation - the info and 'broken wave' that leads our intrepid crew into the next adventure - "Shadows of the Pale Moonlight".
Heck, Rowan won't know Xiang's fate till nearly the last third of "SotPM". 
Channain will, but Rowan won't!
Squee: I'll send you the workup on the description of Dis as soon as I suss it it out further. Think "Riddick" and that will probably help till I detail it out properly.
ALL: Deb and Will left today around 1 or so and won't be home till tomarrow afternoon. Hopefully, after vacation recovery, by Monday we can kickstart the RP in to high gear!
Look for me to catch up with posts {Yes Raven, Slight's internal one too!} by Monday night.

Hey, all, I'm back. I know I didn't tell anyone i was leaving for a couple days but i only found out i was going the day before I left. Went on a church retreat with a small group of other college kids, was quite fun.

Had a most lovely time, hated to go home, but had no choice. Much catching up done, happiness all around!

Maniac : Doh! I been wrapped up in other stuff I forgot I left you hanging!!! I need to re-read your last post and I'll write a post t'nite.
I was hoping to have Mal and Book 'hash' some things out. I liked the idea that the only person on Serenity he feels can be objective (Zoe appears to be off on a tangent ) is the one (Book) he KNOWS has ties to the Alliance. But Mal realizes that he and Book are cut from the same cloth. All that non-verbal communication in the series really confirms that.
So, if you got a post itiching to be ... posted I say POST AWAY! I'll catch up later t'nite.
Squee : I have the Dis description nearly ready. I'll email it to you and also post it on the Dragonfly thread {yes, Dis does have bearing on the Dragonfly storyline as well as the GunRunners}
