"When I said that, I was flush with anger at the gall and gross audacity of such a woman. Her position was far beyond anything reasonable, and sought to take advantage of others. It incensed me. But now that my anger has subsided, I realize the statement I made in that moment does not truly reflect my feelings on the matter. I do not actually advocate for anyone to be forcibly sterilized. I spoke in the heat of the moment, and I find I regret ever making such a statement."
