I stopped watching TV about five years ago, and really haven't looked back. I get all the shows that I want on DVD, and I avoid most of the pitfalls of TV at the same time. My only qualm is that I feel that I am not supporting shows like Firefly when they come out, which contributes to them getting canceled, which is partially why I said that TV is a broken system earlier.

About Joss and movies; someone told me that he'll be directing X-men 3 (Has anyone else heard this?)

And about TV; I always seem to find the best shows after they've been cancelled or just as they're about to be (Family Guy and Futurama spring to mind...) so there's nothing I really watch regularly.
