According to SCI FI Wire, Joss is ready for a possible Buffy movie and a return to television. With a new series, perhaps. Here's an excerpt:

"Obviously, there's been a regime change at The WB. The fans are interested. I'm interested. I don't think either [Buffy star] Sarah [Michelle Gellar] or [Angel star] David [Boreanaz] would want to do it. But I think there's about 10 other characters I could name who would be totally worthy of movies. And I'm just waiting for somebody to say yea or nay."

I actually think it's good that Sarah and David don't want to reprise their characters. Like Joss says, there are a bunch of other characters that deserve some time in the spot light. Personally, I would love to see a tv movie about Giles and Andrew trying to rebuild the Council.

And Joss should return to television. This is going to be the first tv season in eight years without a Joss Whedon show on the air. I'm scared. There's nothing good left to watch.

I think that's an awesome idea, actually- For a series even that would be pretty cool- If they keep a few Scoobies around as help (Xander would make a really good addition as well) I could see that taking off-

I saw "return to television" and my heart began racing......then I saw Buffy. Heart racing now? Not so much.

I really liked Buffy and would definitely watch another Joss series on TV. I have one name for Joss to build a series around: SPIKE!

I thought Spike worked better in a supporting role - he lost alot of strenght when he became a regular of Buffy for me - the mystery and the reason's why I really loved him were lost -

He turned from badass=badass to badass=Cordelia and I only loved him about that much.

I'd love to see something original from Joss - with a high level of involment on his part - akin to his involment on Firefly - deligation is a dirty work in a creative medium (collaberation is a different story altogether but who the hell can keep up with Joss?).

i will watch anything that joss is connected to. i loved buffy & angel, am totally obsessed with firefly. i'm ready for the next dose. come on joss, i'm ready!!
