The Donald has been tweeting and saying on tv that he's got a big announcement concerning Obama which he will reveal tomorrow. He says it will impact the election. This type of thing, whatever it is, really chaps my buns. It'll likely be another big nothing, and if I know Trump it will probably backfire and end up hurting Romney.

Next up...Dick Morris - He loves to predict things, only problem is he's always wrong. In 2008 he predicted Hillary would beat Obama for the nomination and become the first female president. In 2010 he predicted that Sharron Angle would defeat Harry Reid. Now he's predicting a Romney "landslide" with 300 electoral votes. Fact is this guy has lost so many "steak-dinner" bets that he's had to buy a cattle ranch in Texas to cover his losses.

Finally...Frank Luntz - I don't know from what cabbage patch this guy sprung up, but he's just a poor man's PT Barnum. His audience "results" are almost as absurd as the dolts who volunteer to participate in the shenanigans. I guess it's the free buffet lunch they get for their time.

Hopefully, his announcement will be that he is getting the fuck out of Aberdeenshire and taking his pointless yank fucking golf course with him, and stop spoiling the beautiful Scottish coastline and bullying th Menie estate residents,Perhaps the Scottish Government will stop letting loud mouth cocksure dickheads like him set up shop in a land that don't want him or need him and his pointless entourage. Why the fuck doesn't he stick to ruining US wilderness and leave us the fuck alone. Hateful little prick.

But yeah, I'm with you on that one. Be lovely to see them banish his worthless ass from Scotland.

Forgive my outspoken rant on this guy, but i absolutely HATE him. He has ridden roughshod over planning legislation, has told countless lies when it comes to the plans for the complex, and has insulted and ridiculed the decent people of Menie, who have had fishing rights in the area for hundereds of years. The area he is building on is a unique geological site where there is a constantly moving sand dune system, and he has FLATTENED it. He has buried 1000's of trees into a 40 foot hole in the ground. There has been wild deer, geese and indigenous wildlife, and I mean the same family of wildlife on that land that have been decimated and removed forever.
And what angers me most is, the Scottish legislation have allowed this to happen because they think it is beneficial to the local community, economically speaking. But all the workers are immigrant, all the guests at the complex will be wealthy Americans, who won't contribute a penny to the economy. They wont leave the complex to spend their bucks in Scotland. There is NOTHING within 50 miles to spend it ON.
This is pandering to the US dollar, plain and simple. As if Scotland doesn't have enough golf courses?????
It sickens me that this ugly, ginger tosser is allowed to have any influence on our environment whatsoever.
He received an Honorary degree from Robert Gordon University, which prompted eminent academics, who EARNED their degrees to hand them back in protest. It actually makes me want Scotland to drop out of the UK, it angers me that much. A well placed SAS sniper monitoring his next visit would garner no protest from me whatsoever.
And if this man is the epitome of Republican America, I pray that president Obama returns for another four years.
Our own Lord Sugar, who is the boss in our version of The Apprentice and probably one of our most successful businessman in 30 years, flatly refuses to deal with him, regardless of how much business sense it would make.
I absolutely despise the C**T.

If any of you get a chance, please take a look at the BBC documentary "You've been Trumped" by Antony Baxter, which chronicles the devastation that this prick has caused in Aberdeen.

Hypothetical phone call tonight from Romney to Trump.....

Hey you bastard, listen closely. Anything you say about Obama at noon Wednesday is going to derail my election hopes. I know that secretly you actually want me to lose because you want to run for president in 2016, and you don't want me around then as the incumbent. So you just cancel your announcement, whatever it was, and you take a two week vacation somewhere far away. If you, however, proceed with it you can count on the following to occur...if I am elected president despite your attempts at subterfuge, I will direct the IRS to look into every single aspect of everything you do. I will create an entire new dept. just to uncover all your dirty secrets, and they will be relentless, and I guarantee that you will spend the rest of your days in a prison cell. If I lose the election because you interfered and created a last-minute wave of sympathy votes for Obama, then I will strike down with great vengeance and furious anger, and you will know my brother that my name is Romney when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Meanwhile, on another absurd but true front, Ann Coulter tweets after the debate and calls Obama a retard. There are a lot of things you can call a president, but retard isn't one of them. She's a NY Times best-selling author, a public figure who ought to have at least some brain cells that know better, but when Michelle Malkin and Sarah Palin dress her down for it, you know it was a real bad move. Used to be Republican politicians themselves were self-destructive, now it's the coaches and cheerleaders ruining everything for them.

PK, I agree with every single word, and so do a LOT of Americans. We're sick to death of Mister Grab-the-Spotlight comb-over and his antics, but many on the right love him. After all, he is the epitome of "richness", which so many of them foolishly buy into believing they can be, too, and Romney has wanted his support (embarrassing as it's been) all along. Besides, he's got a TV show!!! That makes him a celebrity, and I don't see Romney as having the guts to tell him off.

MAYBE, now that he's got the nomination and the election is so close, he'd tell Trump to shove it, but I have my doubts. And I'd love it if whatever his announcement is would harm Romney's chances in any way, I just doubt it would.

Trump for President? Surely even HE's not that dumb! Then again, given his complete unself-awareness and ego, who knows...

Aside from the fact that Trump is a self serving megalomaniac, what does everyone think of the offer ?

5 Million $'s the any charity Obama wants, if he simply releases his college admission info, his transcripts, and his US passport info.

Sure, it's timed to get the most hype for Trump, and be the most annoying as possible, but hey... if that's what it takes for this President to finally come clean, is that too much to ask ?

And where are Romney's school records and passport info?

Have any of you ever seen his birth certificate? And if not, why don't you think it's important that you haven't seen it?

A bet with charities at stake is what Trump's announcement was?

...I'd like to see the charities get that 4 million dollars, whether or not Obama releases anything. Somehow I doubt it will happen either way, which is sad for the charities, and kind of fills me with yet more anger and disgust. Dangle a carrot like that in front of people who need it, put conditions on it with the intention that it'll never have to be payed out, and snatch it away. Holding their needs hostage. The political points and the money more important than the people are.

I can't stand it. So many people gambling with lives, Obama included. But Trump, he just earned my SPECIAL IRE. What an ASSHOLE.

Saw this comin'. And it's easy as hell to answer, too.

It's because there's no reason for Romney to do this, as there's no HINT of impropriety anywhere with him, unlike with Obama.

Obama had a published bio, which flatly stated that he was NOT born in the United States, but in fact was Kenyan by birth.

Either he's a Kenyan, or he LIED about that, in order to gain the system.

Which is it ?

My guess is that Trump already gives away more in charitable donations , to actual real causes, than Michelle and Obama make, combined.

Doesn't make him any less of an a-hole, for 'dangling' $ out there for folks, but it shouldn't really concern them, either way. Merely by mentioning them, I bet Trump has helped generate some extra donations already. PR never hurts, when you're looking to raise more $.

Prove that!

For one, she does not work for Obama. She does work for a publishing agency which list the President as a client. That is different than your claim, which is another lie in an attempt to make your case seem stronger than it is.

It was never SHOWN to be a " mistake ". The publisher simply came out, years after the fact, and did a CYA job, which only shows they're STILL getting paid by Obama. Which means, genius, that the publisher, working for which ever company, gets paid by Obama.

And nice attempt of recover your lie, by fabricating this straw man of what Breitbart CLAIMED. Disclaimer ? You posted no link to any such thing, all you did was post a link to snopes.com. Your straw man argument is laughable, that some how " even Breitbart " debunks a claim he never made. He was NEVER a birther, and that part of Obama's bio never really was anything but a clear indicator that he LIED in order to make himself appear more 'exotic' a writer than he'd be otherwise.

Which is why Trump wants to know if Obama indeed did get into college, as a foreign student, when in fact, he never was.

So.in your country, a president can be elected and invested by legal and valid means, even if there is a previous discrepancy regarding his legal right to run for office? Do you not think that this information would have to be provided to the appropriate body BEFORE being allowed to stand. That being the case, why exactly should any proof be required???
Can you also purchase and drive away a vehicle WITHOUT producing a driving license. Can you perform heart surgery without producing a medical qualification????
Trumposaurus has done no favour to the Republican cause. Obama has been in office for 4 years. It's a ridiculous state of affairs to try and question his legality to stand, now.
This is a sorry excuse for political propagandism. This is the ravings of an eccenric lunatic who is losing the plot.
I'm sorry, but anybody who believes that your own president has foregone legal and due process to stand for election, is way too obsessed with conspiracy theory for your own good.

It's because there's no reason for Romney to do this, as there's no HINT of impropriety anywhere with him, unlike with Obama.

Romney flat-out LIED about where he lived on his taxes. And he flat-out LIED to reporters about it, and then had to correct himself and pay back taxes to "fix" his lie.

There's more than a "hint" of impropriety to it; there's an outright admission of it.

HE signed the tax forms. Is he not responsible for what HIS tax returns said about his place of residence?

Can you show me where on Obama's book-jacket blurb he signed the statements "under penalty of perjury"? Because Romney actually did sign his tax returns under that onus.

No one.

Again, your context meter must be broken.

TRUMP is the one making the offer about Obama's transcripts, etc...

HE isn't claiming any legality issues.

Per usual, , you're just trying to phony up the issue, and turn it into something it isn't.

But, as always, I get that about you.

I really do.

No, not really. Tax returns ? Are you talking about $ he gave to the govt, which held it for a fiscal year, and then was given back to him, minus taxes owed, with zero interest ?

Wow.

I never thought one human could be this dumb.

On his tax returns (those forms you fill out and then send in to the IRS with your check, if you pay taxes), Romney lied about where he lived. His residency.

Greta had Trump on the phone tonight and she called him out rather forcefully. She said "$5 million is chump change to you, and if I was Obama I'd ask you to make it $100 million. Would you agree to that?" Trump answered "Greta, don't try to negotiate with me." Ultimately he said he would consider a higher amount if it was proposed to him. Then they went back and forth as to Trump's real reason for doing this thing now. The ensuing exchange covered the whole gamut of birther, bio book, passport, and school records dogma, and Greta was having the time of her life. She showed that sometimes playing both prosecutor and advocate can be quite entertaining.

Let's say it was upped to $100 million. Would there be any sort of pressure put on Obama by any of his base to do it for the sake of the charity(s)? Just curious. Personally I hope not. I hope no one would ever succomb to manipulative coersion despite the benefit it could provide. Our elections are already screwed up enough to have financial blackmail enter the fray.

I believe that Trump will end up giving that money, and likely more, to charity anyhow, if he wants any chance to salvage any measure of acceptability among rational people.

Trump is working for himself, first and foremost.

I think this talk of giving to charity, although secondary to his concern, will end up netting ( cancer , aids, inner city kids ) some groups a bit more, out of sheer awareness raising alone. Trump's many things, but stupid isn't one of them. He's likely gaming the system, to benefit himself, but there's also a ' pay off ' too. It may be minuscule, in the grand scheme of things, but hell, in these times, any uptick in donations is a + .

Oct 31st is the deadline Trump has set, I believe. 5 pm. 'After' the election defeats the purpose for Trump. Obama has basically had a free ride since being elected , and Trump wants to put the hottest spot light on him possible. That'd be to come clean BEFORE the election.

Obama would be foolish to pass this up. Seriously, to be able to take Trump's $, and then be seen as the one responsible for donating to x charity ( charities ), and possibly even matching Trump's offer ???

That alone would sway some " undecided " voters. It's a pure win/ win for Obama.

You said that Obama was either being honest than, which means he was born in Kenya or that he is lying at the time. I STATED those 2 things because those are the most likely options AVAILABLE ! If 'born in Kenya' is implausible and flat out absurd, then that doesn't leave much else. Obama knew.

Residency issues have plagued Mitt Romney in the past. When he campaigned for governor of Massachusetts in 2002, he ran into trouble because he had switched his residency to Utah three years earlier when he moved to Park City to take over the struggling Salt Lake Olympic operation. The move technically made him ineligible to run for office in Massachusetts, which requires seven years of continuous state residency before a candidate is eligible to run. After a lot of legal wrangling and paying back taxes, he was finally allowed on the ballot.

Quote:

How Romney had filed his Massachusetts income taxes — as a resident or non-resident — during his years in Utah could have had some bearing on the issue. Since he had also been contemplating a run for office in Utah, some suspected he might have filed as resident there to establish more permanent roots in the Beehive State.

Romney initially refused to make a copy of his Massachusetts tax returns public, even a copy with the income information redacted. Suspicions only grew more intense after the Globe’s Frank Phillips reported that Romney had paid property taxes on his Park City, Utah, home as his primary residence for 1999, 2000, and 2001. Campaign aide Eric Fehrnstrom said that had happened because of a “clerical mistake” by the relevant county assessor’s office in Utah, an account that office pretty much backed up, though no one could say quite how the unusual error had occurred.

At the time of the property tax brouhaha, Romney told reporters he had filed his state income taxes “both as a resident of Utah and a resident of Massachusetts.” Pressed by Phillips, Fehrnstrom also insisted Romney had filed as a Massachusetts resident, adding that “you are just going to have to take my word for it.”

Of course, it was later revealed that the Romneys had, in fact, claimed their home in Utah as their residence, both to lower their Utah property tax burden and to avoid the Massachusetts income tax.

I agree, Mark. Totally ridiculous arguments. For one thing:

Quote:

It's because there's no reason for Romney to do this, as there's no HINT of impropriety anywhere with him, unlike with Obama.

Of course there is, and legitimate impropriety that SHOULD cause questions about his taxes:
Quote:

1. It’s well known that Romney has deposited a lot of his money in banks in Switzerland, the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. However most people don’t remember that in 2009 the Internal Revenue Service announced that those who illegally hid money in offshore accounts would not be prosecuted for tax evasion if they would come forward to settle up.

Given his refusal to disclose his taxes is it unreasonable to suspect that they would reveal that he took advantage of this amnesty to avoid prosecution?

His personal assurances that there’s nothing for the public to be concerned about are worthless. If these concerns have no merit it would be trivially easy for him to dispel them once and for all ... release the records. http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20121024/OPINION02/310240011/Romn
ey-has-lots-hide-tax-returns?odyssey=mod%7Cnewswell%7Ctext%7COpinion%7Cp

2. THE BOSTON GLOBE (June 7, 2002): Republican gubernatorial hopeful Mitt Romney contradicted his previous public statements yesterday, and said for the first time that he did not file Massachusetts income tax returns for 1999 and 2000 as a resident of this state.
Quote:

in 2002, when he was running for governor of Massachusetts, Romney was equally adamant that he would not release his tax returns. A key issue then was Romney’s eligibility to serve as governor. Massachusetts law requires that in order to serve as governor, candidates must have resided in the state for the previous seven consecutive years. Because Romney had lived in Utah full time while he ran the 2002 winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, it seemed obvious he did not meet that requirement.

One way to tell for sure would be to see which state, Massachusetts or Utah, Romney listed as his primary residence on his IRS forms. Romney and his adviser, Eric “Etch-A-Sketch” Fernhstrom vehemently denied that Romney had filed as a full-time resident of Utah. It was later revealed they were lying — Romney had amended his returns to change his claim of full-time residency in Utah to full-time residency in Massachusetts — retroactively. http://www.pensitoreview.com/2012/08/08/romney-hid-his-returns-in-2002
-mass-governors-race-too
/

3. Romney deliberately didn't claim deductions on last years' tax returns which would have put his tax rate at less than 14%, which he has claimed over and over he never paid less than. That he would do so merely for political reasons should make anyone question his motivation on other matters where he has contradicted himself directly, purely for political reasons.

So there's not just a "hint" of impropriety, there is ACTUAL impropriety when it comes to his 2002 tax returns, impropriety where he ADMITTED he lied.

It's well known by now that there must be SOME valid reason Romney won't show his returns. The broo-ha-ha over it is such that the cost of NOT releasing them would be far higher than releasing them, unless he'd done something wrong, illegal, or so unpleasant that he fears it would cost him the election.

Which will have absolutely NO effect on Rap continuing to insist otherwise, or pay any attention to the facts.

The woman in question also DOES work for a publishing company, not for Obama, so that is yet another "misspeak", if you will. To say it's not been "SHOWN" that the mistake was hers and not a deliberate lie by Obama is disingenuous, because it can't be proven. She has stated it was her fault; unless it can be proven otherwise, we have to take her word for it.

Trump apparently didn't even name a charity he would donate to. He mentioned AIDs research though, so I looked and found a group with a good rating.

This makes me wish the Donald could feel shame. But he can't. Instead, I will wish futilely that the internet can focus my disgust and resentment so hard that maybe he'll trip on a $20,000 rug in one of his gaudy tasteless offices.

I will also see if I can tie this into the donation drive going on at work this month, maybe they can double my contribution.

That's because the challenge is for OBAMA to name the charity, as it's HIS choice, not Trump's. His mention of AIDS, Cancer, or helping inner city children of Chicago were merely examples. I bet , if Obama named several, to split up the donations, Trump would comply.

Provided Obama steps up, which of course, he won't.

Obama's responce on Jay Leno...

“This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya,” said the president, to much laughter. “We had constant run ins on the soccer field. He wasn’t very good, and he resented it. When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over.”

Pure projection. The desperation clearly comes from the Left, which is frantically trying to phony up any and everything it can, to divert attention away from Obama's abysmal record.

So, do tell... how would Obama become more wealthy, working in government, than Donald Trump, who has been in the private sector since long before Obama even got out of college ?

I know it sad that a person that has accomplished so much and dedicated his life to serving his community and country is not nearly as wealthy as a man who simply uses money to make money.

Does that make him a better person? Is someone's real worth measured only by their monetary worth?

We went over this before, Mike.

The differing state tax laws of Utah and Mass. were to blame for this.

If Romney lived more than half the year in Utah, as he did when saving the Olympic Games, he was required by state law to file a resident tax return. If he maintained a residence in Mass., regardless of how much time he lived there, he could file a Mass resident tax return. It appears that when PriceWaterhouse did his returns, they chose to file as resident in Utah and non-resident in Mass. but under Mass. law, he could have filed either resident or non-resident. When he amended his Mass. returns to resident, he did nothing wrong.

This was all explained in the ruling of the Mass. Ballot Law Commission ruling about his eligibility to run for governor.

Not provable. He's filed CORPORATE bankruptcy numerous times, but that has nothing to do with his personal wealth.

Of course, given he's inflated his actual worth several times in the past, who knows?
Quote:

On-again, off-again presidential candidate Donald Trump releases what he claims to be truthful and accurate financial information in his new book, Time to Get Tough. It’s scheduled to be in bookstores Dec. 5.

In the book, the host of NBC’s The Apprentice – who has financial interests in Palm Beach County with Mar-a-Lago and Trump International Golf Club, but also in Broward and Miami-Dade counties — claims to be worth $7 billion, give or take a couple mill.

That’s much more than previous estimates, which placed him in the $250 million to $3 billion range. He is No. 128 on the latest Forbes 400, with a fortune estimated at $2.9 billion.More at http://www.forbes.com/sites/joselambiet/2011/11/22/donald-trump-claims
-hes-worth-7-billion
/

If he can lie by that big a number (I know "billion" doesn't mean what it did, but if he more than DOUBLED his net worth??), he can say anything he wants and nobody can prove it except his accountants, so anyone can equally make their own estimates. Interesting that he sued that guy for "libel" (how is it libelous to say someone is less rich than they claim, and did he have to provide facts to prove it was wrong? In which case...).

There is also the (perhaps more important, given according to law, what he did was legal) fact that he LIED about it, then ADMITTED he lied:
Quote:

Once it was finally pointed out that Romney had filed as a Utah resident, and had even told a reporter in Utah that he had done this for tax reasons, Romney punted responsibility for it: The reporter was lying, a Utah tax clerk had made a mistake, and he hadn’t read his taxes before signing them, he now claimed. At the same time, Romney noted he’d been trying to fix the error.

“He was trying to retroactively, essentially refile his taxes, so his Massachusetts taxes would be filed as if he was a resident of the state."More at http://www.kulturekritic.com/2012/08/news/liar-liar-while-running-for-
gov-romney-lied-about-tax-returns-while-simultaneously-trying-to-get-them-amended/

So if it was all legal, why would Romney note he'd been trying to "fix" the "error"? Romney lied about his taxes, one way or another. So there IS reason to question his veracity (if we ever believed he had any in the first place, considering his constant twisting with the wind).

Right on, Byte:
