Why would I listen to what they say? What they say has nothing to do with what they do, and it is no different from what their party spokesperson said last time. My party, the democratic party, has been running on a near identical platform revolving around the buzzwords of hope and change since it was introduced by FDR in 1932.
What they say is what the party told them to say. That's designed to split the voters in half so the 1%ers running can clean up the support of the sheeple.
What I care about is what they do. What Obama did in Illinois, what Romney did in Massachusetts, and now what Obama did in his first term. Not that it will make a huge amount of difference as no one could get in without being in the club, and being a 1%er, and president is nowhere near as powerful a position as people think it is.
What worries me more about these two people as individuals is actually outside of either box: It's what Obama did as a neo-malthusian, his vision of constitutional law, and his involvement in the chicago school, the last of which being the main reason I didn't vote for him last time, because I thought he would be an economic disaster. I think I was proven correct. However, my biggest personal worry for me with Romney is what he did at Bain capital which leads me to suspect he would be an even bigger economic disaster. That said, I can't vote for either one: One guy I support 5% and the other one 10% is not enough reason to choose one. It's sort of like choosing which bully should beat you up in the playground after school on the grounds that one of them once gave you his chocolate milk.

Actually, everything I just said to Nick first, but adding this:
I think the president's salary is $400k, not $400M, but not directly what I meant. I mean that the Koch brothers invaded Ron Paul's tea party to make it their own because they saw the opportunity to become power brokers and sell policy to corporations. I think it works something like this. Koch bros give $ to Rand Paul to get him elected, and in return, they get to be the channel for the resale of his policy decisions. Then corporations step up and offer more campaign $ and various other fringe benefits (hookers and coke and a little cash on the side) in exchange for policy votes in the company's favor. This system, unfortunately, we're calling "democracy."
ETA: to clarify, by employees i meant people like Rand Paul, or whomever they throw money at, I think you got that part, but I figured other people were reading, might get confusing.

Pensylvania/Sandusky abuses scale wider and deeper than admitted - as I see one of Ambramoffs pimped kids has come forward, dunno the details of that, but he's pointed the finger square at Sandusky, and there's more behind it.
And, well, Mitt the Shit - I think we can cap that one with an I-told-you-so here.
One potentive prediction - the Israel-firsters and the likudnik asshats over there are less than pleased with Obama not hopping to their tune on command and have started throwing in behind Romney since they think he's more gullible and bendable, and when his campaign finally implodes there's a substantial chance that might pry our political crowd an inch or too offa practically fellating the bastards.
