As much as I'd enjoy seeing Romney hauled off on charges for seriously nefarious acts, I think in the end he's likely not done anything horribly illegal. He's got too many advisers to let that happen - they've pushed the boundaries just the right amount, far enough that you or I would get busted for doing it, but a bizzilionaire has nothing to worry about, legally speaking, with his big-name daddy, big-name friends, and a whole cult to back him up. Oh, and besides the Repubs there's also that Mormon religious group...

Now, politically? Different story.

Romney's financial history is packed full of a bunch of seriously impolitic shit. The worst part, for him, is that he's being so stupid about dealing with it that it's blowing up in his face. The cover up is worse than the act. (Or maybe not - if I ever see those returns I may sing a different song...)

Truth be told A, I didn't read it, nor do I have any interest in reading it.

The burden is on Romney. If he doesn't want to "step in the limelight", then back the F out now.

EVERY SINGLE ONE of my union friends, whether in REAL unions like pipefitters or ironworkers, or fake unions like teachers unions..... they all have their salaires posted online and sometimes on a wall where they work (just to make regular wage employees HATE them, I would assume).



Sorry Romney. I love Britney Spears. Some people loved her so much that they know some dark crap and have photographs of it by the most depraved PR..... The only reason they were looking at what she was doing is because there was a built in base of income for the end product of photos most "un-paid" women would be scarred for life finding out was put on the internet.


Hell, girls like Vanessa Hudgens somehow "accidentially" get nude photos posted by a supposed ex and we just accept that story as fact.

I know you're a devoted Moorman and all, but you're going to have to share the size of your Johnson with the rest of the world now that you want to be Prez, metaphorically speaking.





Here's the rub, and my own personal deflection from "the rub", and one I think you'll agree with Anthony.

You and I, we're not public servants, nor do I feel that either of us would EVER want to be one (I assume my logic is kosher so far????)

Mitt strives to get into the Ultimate position of Tax Payer Funded control in the entire world.

If you're running for office, the LAW (should be) Guilty Until Proven Innocent.




I'm glad Britney bounced back, but just ask Lindsay Lohan how the public life has been going for her ruined career.

If I was her, I'd be happy that nobody was talking about me anymore. Love him or hate him, Obama's failures have FAR outweighed any of Lindsay's.

Hello,

I feel about this the same way I felt about the Fast and Furious investigation documents. Why should this be withheld? What is the danger is opening things up to complete transparency?

Why should this man want to keep much of his tax history a secret? What is damnable in those documents?

Yup, Mike, that about covers it. Waiting to see whether he's FORCED to show them or not...if he never does, I'll more seriously question if there's something to hide besides his wealth and off-shore banking.

Either way, he's not playing any of this particularly well, on all fronts. I heard he hired a new staff...or ad staff, I'm not sure which. If it's his staff who've been advising him, probably a good thing. Tho' I think it more likely it's Rove and his ilk doing the advising, myownself...
