I'd watch that depending on who played in the starring roles....

Shakira and Vin Diesel.
Or going in a bit of a different direction Rhea Perlman and Danny DeVito.

Yes to the second. Hell no to the first. I have this weird thing where I only like to watch thing in which actors can actually act!
Also in breaking news tomorrow is Monday.

Vin can kinda sorta act. At least as well as most action movie star type people. Shakira? No clue if she can act at all but she is awfully cute and appears at least somewhat limber.

They play the parents on Matilda,I'd totally watch a show with them in it, just because I love Matilda so much, one of the few times where the thing I experience second is better. I read the book first, then saw the movie. Book or movie, which ever thing I experience first is usually the one I like the best. But not this time.

I'm usually more of a book best person regardless of order. The only substantive exception being The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy where the definitive version is the radio series. The first series at least though the second goes in a rather different direction which is simultaneously not as good but totally awesome. Series three through five (adapting "Life, The Universe, and Everything" through "Mostly Harmless") are probably not as good as the books (though the ending to radio series five is a marked improvement.)
But aside from that one outlier case (and novelizations of movies which tend to really reek) give me a big fat novel to the two hour panoramic extravaganza.

I'm pretty sure you're not suppose to wear pants under a kilt no matter what the day is... it's all so confusing. I choose to never wear pants thereby, avoiding the inevitable indecisiveishness altogether!!!!!
Also, I agree books are always better. I'd live in the library if they'd let me.
