I not so grandly follow, but break my foot as I trip and fall
in the hall in the mall where the ball isn't small at all!
"Help" I call. Though no one understands my drawl
and so, step upon me as they stampede through and break down the wall!
In the mall where the ball isn't small there comes a great grawwwwlll!
they (whoever they maybe) begin to quarrel and dance and brawl!
Stop! I loudly call, but alas no one minds me as I am not loud or tall.

I was nearly reduced to crawling myself just now. We ran out of sugar this morning (had enough for today but nothing for tomorrow) and I can't get through the day without three cups of coffee liberally dosed with sugar. So I start walking to the grocery store to buy a bag. I get to the end of the alley when my legs decide they don't really want to be walking at all much less half a mile to the grocery store. Which is a problem but I decide that I can push through the pain - because need sugar for coffee - and press on. I get to the slightly nearer grocery store but they only have the one pound bags. No way I'm spending four bucks for one pound when I can get ten pounds for eight so I grit my teeth and walk the next block to the big grocery. And then I walk back home with a ten pound bag and already aching something fierce.
I got all but a block from home before it began raining. Not hard luckily and the sugar was thankfully not harmed.
And that's why coffee tomorrow will taste extra sweet.

Yipes! Hope you're legs have recovered. I actually think it's a brillant idea walking to the store to burn calories in order to make more room for sugar calories (the best kind)!!!!!!

Yes all better. Just stiffening up after the work week I suppose. Should be much looser tomorrow.

I need to do more of the walking thing too. I climb up and down ladders at work all the time though so that should count for something!
