As a new fan, my first impression was that in the Firefly Universe, the only real life "G'rim Reapers" are the Gorram Reavers!

If Mal was shouting "Goddammit" during the opening battle scene of Serenity Valley, why would the expression suddenly change to gorrammit 6 years later? Doesn't make sense.....

For heavens sake!!!! why do people dedicate their time to picking things to peices? Aint it enough that you have a show that is intelligent and exciting to follow? The most interesting thing to grace screens in the U.K is bloody Eastenders!!! I almost begrudge paying for my T.V licence! The simple fact that Firefly incorperate Chinese into their dialog is very clever considering they dont speak a word of it! The shite actors in our country can barely construct an interesting sentence in english!

"That only matters to the people on the rim!"

Ghostrider, I think you'll find Mal uses gorram instead of goddam in the opening. "Get me some gorram air support!"
It's an interesting theory but I think gorram is used far too often for it to stand up.
