Sorry if this upsets anyone, but I don't consider Serenity a particularly good-looking ship. Not the ugliest on the block either, but not the prettiest.

But she doesn't have to be pretty. She has to do her job... and, modulo the occasional buffer panel detachment, she does it pretty well.

Oh, it was a great show indeed. Classic dialogue and situations, such as:

Thodin's bug bomb (having crawled out of his nose!) has caused chaos in His Shadow's computer system, causing crossed wires between Thodin's trial and an award ceremony for young recruits to the Divine Order. As a result of the chaos, two bio-mechanical guards mistakenly believe Thodin has been granted an award of merit by His Shadow, and so they allow Thodin to take their weapons. As they're walking carefully away:

Guard: Hail Thodin, winner of - correction! Thodin, arch-traitor and heretic, you have been sentenced to death for crimes against His Shadow. Please return our weapons.

- Thodin shrugs, and he and a co-heretic blast the guards!

At times the most bizarre series I'd ever seen, but I loved it. Having Eva Habermann and Xenia Seeberg didn't exactly hurt...

So there would be an ultimate example of "What not to ride in?" ...Forget the extenders...I wouldn't want my friends ta catch me dead AND ridin' in it...
