Anyone remember the movie explorers? In the movie, a bunch of kids build a spaceship in their backyard using a tilt-a-whirl seat. That thing was pretty ugly, even if it was homemade.

Yeh, the Apollo Eagle isn't a gem either. I got this one from Silent Running. The Valley Forge eco ship. I like Huey, Dewey, and Loui. Forget R2D2.

"Batttle of Serenity, Mal. Besides Zoe here, how many-" "I'm talkin at you! How many men in your platoon came out of their alive".

Those three robots made that movie. I always wanted to see a Star Trek episode where they come across that remaining dome with that last robot still tending to the plants.

Isn't that ship from Battle Beyond the Stars, the same one that when you see it from above, instead of looking like a female torso, it then looks like a uterus with the fallopian tubes, or am I getting that ugly thing mixed up with another eyesore?

Can't find a picture, but with all due respect to any Aussies out there, the Phoenix 5 was as rubbish as our present Ashes Team.

Can't think of much else, but Sputnik 3 really nailed the "crap Russian copy of a Dalek" look.

The Mig 25 Foxbat. F15 lookalike. Most feared interceptor in the world, until they found out it was made from old manhole covers.

However, it scores cool points for having gigantic engines and valves in the Radar which was immune to EMPs and (being obviously built by Marshall) put out 500KW and could kill rabbits on the runway. (I read all this on the Internet, so it must be true).

The Wolverine from the game Starlancer:

I'm sorry, but what the f**k is that supposed to be?? It's like a retarded bus with solar panels attached...

Found the ugly ship from explorers

I did mention the part where the engine overheats and we all die, right? Don't think I woulda left somethin' like that out.

Always LOVED the film EXPLORERS. One of my all time favourite Kids movies.

I kinda liked the spaceship the Aliens had.

Anyway as for dodgey looking crafts well I'd have to say the ones James Cameron uses in his films always seem lame to me. From the Drop ship, to the Sulaco in Aliens. Dreadful, dreadful designs. Even the floaty thing in Terminator I, II had some ropey looking craft.

Then there is the Naboo fighter from Episode 1 aswell as the cruiser from I, II, and III.

From Empire Strikes Back those weird twin cockpit things in the City in the Clouds.

From EVENT HORIZON - the Event Horizon ship:

Baaaad Design.

And this thing from the terrible Fifth Element:

To name but a few....

I always thought Star Wars had some damned ugly ships, but thats party what I like about the Star Wars Universe, that it looks beaten.

Nothing wrong with your eyes RMMC.
Just sore from looking to long at that terribly
ugly ship. Yes it is from "Battle Beyond the Stars".

Others have brought up other ships, but their ugliness does not come near the horrible design of this craft. The producer who used it in the movie should win an award for having the courage to do so.
