Sigh...so Weiner is a weiner after all. I was sad--and angry--to hear it. Pisses me off no end, but doesn't change my opinion one whit that this is not a news story, the media is being ridiculous about it, and anyone who pays attention is a weiner too. If someone is a good legislator, I don't give a flying fuck what they do in their own lives, as long as it doesn't break the law.

And you don't get to say I'm hiding behind anything because Weiner is a Dem. I feel precisely the same about Scott, and think it is just as stupid a story, and I'm amazed, and disgusted, that he quit over it. Many have survived FAR worse; to let a pecadillo like pictures sent over the internet cause one to RESIGN is assinine, in my opinion.

I'm especially pissed at Weiner, tho', because he was doing a good job of being someone who would stand up and call the Republicans out. So now he's gone and done something so stupid that he's made himself look like an ass. I resent that.

What IS it with these guys??? I asked that before and we had a discussion about guys and sex, etc. But this is a different animal, this stupidity of sending photos on Twitter accounts or over e-mail to women by married men in the public eye. Is social media such a new thing they haven't figured it out yet or something? Anything put on the net is never gone; how much brains does it take to realize there are tons of people out there just drooling over the idea of finding something on them? Idiots.

This has just become a non-story, as far as I'm concerned; politicians are assholes. Many male politicians are STUPID assholes who have used their penises to think with. Nothing new there.
