During an interview Tuesday, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly repeatedly tried to nail down an answer on whether Milwaukee Teachers Union president Mike Langyel condoned teachers using fake medical excuses to get out of work to attend protests in Madison. But when the union prez refused to address her question directly and suggested her question was “the wrong one to be asking,” Kelly laid down the law, reminding Langyel of his role as her show’s guest.
“For better or for worse, I’m the anchor and you’re the guest,” she said. “So I’ll come up with the questions and you can answer them or not.”

Yeah, I saw this. I wouldn't say she bitch slapped him....she can be much tougher. What I found hilarious is that he kept saying "for the children"...when he meant "for our paychecks and power".......well, it's true....

Fox News asking the hard questions that people care about.
Is this really an interview asking this man if he condones teachers lying about a sick day?
First, who the fuck hasn't done that, and why does it matter. you are allotted a certain ammount of sick days...it's not like you can take the whole year off this way.
Second, it is absolutely appropriate for them to use these days for what they are doing, which quite frankly, is in defense of their schools as well as their own rights.
Don't think so? apparently there are 5 states that don't have collective bargaining for their teachers, and guess what? They rank at the very bottom of U.S. SAT scores...litterally. 50th, 49th, 48th, 47th, and wow, the last one broke the trend and is 44th.
Apparently Wisconsin is like #2.

Yeah, how about a compromise and Wisconsin agrees to every demand they have regarding curriculam, class size, etc. and they all take a 20% paycut and have to pay all their own benefits and lose their collective bargaining rights for everything but 'children's issues'.
I'm sure they'd be all for that one.

Kane, it really isn't 'nuff said.' That's really the frustrating part. It would be nice if you actually said something. something that wasn't simply a vague and reeking cloud of generalities.
