Well, when I finally figure how, I got to the chat room, but I guess you had already left. I guess I'll have to catch you next time.

So, who is going to Fireguardian's Shindig in Denver on Sep 4? You might want to go to the Serenity board and sign in. Or let me know, and I can pass the info on.
Also, are we in Colorado Springs going to do something?

Normally, I don't like bumping, but this just got buried with the Comic con thing going on.

Denver, Denver, Denver.... Have a shingdig in Denver. OK, I can drive to the springs if needed but the Denver area would rock. I'm so thrilled that there are ANY browncoats in Colorado. I've tried to ask that very question before (well over a year ago) and no one answered at all. TOO COOL!

Well, I'm in Colorado, more in the Golden area though. It sure is nice seeing so many Browncoats up in the Springs area, there needs to be something up there besides churches.
Er, I hate to point this out but since I've lived in both areas I know that that Colorado Springs is south of Golden, hence you should say down there not up there. Now, I know you are thinking that I'm just picking on you but think of it as a nice hello from someone else in the Denver area and then you won't be upset at this post.

LOL...well, I think of Colorado Springs as 'up there' since I've always seen it as a more uphill-ish then downhill drive from my house, which is admittedly in a bit of a hollow. So most of Colorado falls under 'up there' to me.
I tend not to think in terms of North and South as being up or down since the earth is round, therefore having no true up or down direction-wise. I think of up and down more in an elevation way, you drive up the mountain, or down it. A simple matter of perceptions, and mine are admittedly a bit 'odd'.

Ahoy fellow coloradians
If we are going to put a shindig together someone has to offer up their house. Unfortuently I can not. But at the very least if we can't put together someting. we gotta decide on what theater on Apr 22, hence forth known as the golden day, to meet, wait in line for hours to try and draw some attention, sing songs, fiddle with rainsticks and just have a blast.
Anyone else got any plans?

Well, I am planning on taking a vacation day and watching the noonish or 1pm-ish showing. After all, it's close to my birthday and okay to treat myself. My first choice is probably Cinemark over on Powers Ave.
