I don't feel strongly enough about the buffy reboot to petition against it. It's just business.

Yep. Who knows, maybe it'll even be good?
Plus, petitions are meaningless, as are boycotts by small fanbases. They won't even notice.

I think the best thing we can do is ignore it. Petitions, it seems to me, only draw more attention to said causes, in this case, the rebooted Buffy effort.
If the reboot fails, then Joss and Co will get at least a bit of a bump, and folks who maybe never caught Buffy the first time maybe wondering what was up w/ story in the first place.
If , by some miracle, it does really good.... could that be seen as a win for Buffy lore in general ?
I'm in more of a 'wait and see' mode right now, than blindly going into battle, against that which I've got no real disdain for... yet.
