Except for Finn, remember? He kept saying that season five is where you should stop buying. HE was the reason I paused in between getting season 5, and going for the Chosen Collection! GRRRR. Little did I know then that I'd like the end the best.

3. The show knows what it is and all cylinders are firing. Best story, best arc, best character development.
2. Finds itself and becomes the "Buffy" we know and love. Does a lot of what 3 does just a bit less of it.
5. Really ups the ante for Buffy and does a great job of pushing the concept od Slayerness and Buffy herself to the limit. The end is beautiful Heroic tragedy.
4. Very underrated. There's a string of good to great standalones in this season, some of which are the most innovative eps of the whole show.
1. Bit of a wobbly colt but all the ingredients for greatness are there.
7. At least it's not 6.
6. Overall a godawful, miscalculated, mishandled misfire.

8. Can't judge as I have no idea why anything is happening or why people are doing what they're doing.
