With a possible Shindig in the works in Denver (as posted on the Serenity board), I thought that I'd start a thread here for us Colorado fans to use.

Wow!!! my first day on the boards and what's the first post I see? Asking for Colorado fans!! I'm up in Woodland Park (northwest of the Springs) and was just a few moments ago lamenting the lack of any Firefly fans in my area that I knew of. I'd love to get together for a Browncoat Shindig, provided someone can come pick me up! Email me at groupiegrrl6969@aol.com and let me know details, please??

Sure thing. The details are still being worked out. I believe that they are talking September 4 right now, at a generous someone's home. I won't let it slip by you. I can probably drive you up, if you need a ride.

Have fun here. It is a great site, made so by all the friendly people on it (and thanks, Haken, for making it all possible!). I would suggest just wandering around the old threads as they catch your eye. Don't be shy on posting if you have something to say, even on a very old thread.

That, of course, would suddenly transform it into a shiny new thread!

Hey...this Browncoat Shindig was supposed to be in Denver right?!? There's 3 people already just in the Springs...or the Springs area...why don't WE just have ourselves a mighty fine shindig?? We can watch everyone's favorite episodes, have drinks and munchies...hell, I'll even offer up my house! We've got a pretty nice, almost flat screen TV...so maybe in addition to the Denver meetup, we can do the Colorado Springs/Woodland Park meetup first?? That'd be shiny!

Hmm...appropriate munchies...apples! (sorry, just watched War Stories today, got apples on the brain... and the teachings of Shan Yu...how...unmixy. LOL) I can't really think of anything, maybe a more culnarily inclined browncoat can help us out??

Huh.

Didn't know we had that many Colorado Springs Browncoats. My television would not be the biggest.

As for get-togethers, I have a preference for NOT Saturdays, as I usually have something going on. Best for me in general would proabably be Fridays or Sundays.

Juhu, there are more fireflyfans out there! I'm in the Springs, too! Its funny, there seem to be more in the Springs area than in Denver!

Count me in! I only have a small TV, though, and only 1 couch for 3 people .
