The PART of that article you posted is misleading. At the end it says

So much for that. I HATE the idea they want to investigate funding of a COMMUNITY CENTER with a "prayer room" in it, but as you said, Mike, "that's America". However, I think if so, it would be worthwhile to see who's funding the opposition as well. Too bad they didn't make it public who was funding the Tea Party hullabaloos, too; I think they'd find the GOP (and several PROVEN racist organizations). Maybe that would have made a difference in how people viewed them. Too late for that now, tho', but I'd like to know how people felt about the Tea Party if they knew who was behind it.
Hey, Land of Equality; if we're going to investigate who's funding the community center, shouldn't we be investigating who's funding community centers all across the nation? Or is it just Muslims whose privacy should be intruded upon?
What about Scientologists? The LDS? I'm sure PN would love to know who funds ANYTHING the Jews do...
