I'm sure everyone has heard of the Blue Glove Assault, well a few online contacts and I have suggested a similar effort at a different time in the year and it came up that Jayne Cobb day was suggested...
Anyone interested in sending in something to Universal on Jayne Cobb Day (As I understand it is on January 16th)? It would be just a kind of second round of "Hey we are still here and here's proof of our support!" (outside of all the publicity from events and such). Of course this is a general Firefly/Serenity effort, so:
Who to send to: Universal
When to send it: ON January 16th (post marks are a more reliable marker than everyone trying to get it in by the 16th)
What to send: 14 inches of orange yarn (Jayne Cobb hat) and a card with a message of your choosing similar to "Can't stop the signal!"
Why do it: Because the more support for/reminders that fans want more, the higher the possibility we might get an answer.
And the extra's: If you think this is a good idea, please spread the word, what is 14 inches of orange yarn and a card for something you like?
If you think Universal is the wrong entity to request from, please let me know why and suggest an alternative.
