Which "MSM" do you think is ignoring this? It's been on every channel I've seen. I don't watch FauxNews, so I guess THEY might be ignoring it, but the others certainly aren't.

Wow, you DO live on a different planet! I hear little but doomsaying on the stations I watch (including local ones and network)...they've added stories recentl as things have happened, but I'm hearing nothing but doom and gloom, pretty consistently. The MSM loves drama, "if it bleeds, it leads", so the gusherfuck will be getting attention for as long as it "bleeds". When there's nothing new to report, it kinda sinks to story #3 or 4, but it's always there, and it's always bad!

But lessee, user registered on June 25th, first and so far last posts made on that same date, first post a chastisement rather than anything on any topic remotely related to Firefly, or being new, or the actual topic of this thread... Which I find myself having difficulty contemplating myself, and would not want to post about except I don't like to see this sort of behavior so here I am posting off-topic in a thread with a topic I can't bring myself to discuss... Wow, that whole sentence was awful and run-on, I'm very sorry, but also very caffeinated and up far too late because I opted not to take the summer off and I should have. Anyway. This posting pattern says puppet to me, personally, but that point is overshadowed by the massive amount of jerkwad it must take to randomly attack someone, especially when that person happens to be coming from a place of moral outrage at the insensitivity that can be shown in certain posts.
Unless, you know, you're a friend of PN or Raptor and have some personal stake in someone saying it was insensitive of him to post an upsetting photo with an upsetting story set on the backdrop of an already upsetting event. But since this was a first post by a new member whom I've never seen interacting with Raptor or anyone aside from Niki, that is not my first instinct.
I hope at least some of that made sense. I'm usually much more structured in my writing presentation. The derailing of that is exactly why I surfed over here instead of trying to do more work on my paper.

Thank you, Dancer. It never occurs to me to check on when someone first registered...I'm still pretty uneducated on sickpuppets. I come to the same conclusion as you, and I find it slightly weird that someone would creat a sickpuppet just to come in and snipe at one person to hide the fact that they themselves are doing the sniping. It seems childish and unnecessary, but then sickpuppets in general are childish, cowardly and unnecessary in my view.

I do appreciate what you contributed, and it was perfectly coherent to me...just sayin'.

Would be amusing if it weren't so pathetic. Where's "Flips" to talk about YOUR 'civility'? Or is "he" you? Doesn't matter, River's efforts solved the problem for me. Not that it was a problem anyway; comparing me to any of the truly vicious, ugly people here is a joke, nothing more.

If you think my signature was ugly, talk to Crappy. He wrote it. I don't even use that signature most of the time, only in response to his ugliness. I'll have to remember yours, too, it's worth noting next time anyone calls me unkind. Two other people included Crappy's ugliness in their signatures; Anthony has removed it to let the ugliest of you know that he's found a way to block their posts, so he doesn't have to deal with him, and Mike's changed his slightly.

Crappy is about the only person I call a negative nickname, and I refer to him as Raptor when he makes a good point or is civil. The only other one is Wulfwind--and again he's been far uglier to me than I am in calling him just the wind in the trees. We've "done" this nickname thing before. I have no apologies to make.

Crappy and Wulf have called me far, far worse many times and frequently; the comparison is ludicruous. To compare what I post to what YOU just posted is also piteous.

You're just using this as an excuse to be as ugly and malicious as you possibly can, which speaks about you, not me. And I might add, is pretty normal for you. Your accusations are humorous, your name calling pitiful, but neither bothers me.

Flips was pretty obviously a sickpuppet of someone--you perhaps?--given he/she's not been back since, and given the date of registration and the only post being to chastize me. End of story.

ETA: I just noticed Wulf calls me "Nix"--wanna go after him now? Doesn't bother me, but obviously negative nicknames bother YOU...or is it only if I use them?
