While I was diggin round for a copy of Sword of the Stars I tripped over something that caused me to blink, and then immediately think of you.

I seem to be watching more television on my computer then my TV. I actually wait and see shows on FANCAST.com instead of watching them when they origianally braodcast. I can watch when I want and with fewer commercials.
FANCAST has all ten seasons of "Stargate One" and I am finally seeing it in proper sequence. It is more enjoyable then catching it in bits amd pieces. I am in the middle of season nine with Vala, Claudia Black. So I am near the end. They just don't have the final film. May have to rent that.
So I am looking forward to this new Star Trek. To much to watch and not enough hours in the day.

Speaking of new Star Trek, here's something you guys may have missed. A few years ago, back when Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars microseries was making waves, A group called Zero Room Productions pitched concepts for an online animated Trek microseries called Final Frontier.
Unfortunately, there was a shakeup at CBS, and the J.J. Abrams movie came along and steamrolled everything, so the project ended up collapsing. The show's resources have recently been posted online.
The show was planned to be set in the far future of the Trek universe; 2528 (for perspective, Star Trek Nemesis happens in 2380).

Yet there are those in Starfleet who know that humanity was meant for more, and that our foray into the stars was borne not of a desire for power but for knowledge and adventure. Captain Alexander Chase of the U.S.S. Enterprise is one of these men, and he's about to make a decision that will set Starfleet back on the right path...
