The Commie economy is about to collapse...

Which will bring USA down too...

World War 3 will be the desired result...

That's what the Trilateral Commission is meeting in secret about this week.

It doesn't add up. China vs India is the largest war I can fathom right now as a possibility, but if the commie govt collapsed, i don't think a new china would be game to hold it.

I think you were more on target with chiina being the now model from one world govt.

Brain ling? Any idea what to do to lower heart rate? So far nothing is working

Dreamtrove? Did ya finally get it down or what? The only thing that came to mind was an old E.R. episode where Carter dunked this guy's head in a tub of cold water and held it, but I think that might have been for arrythmia(sp?) Oh, well it still sounds like fun, doesn't it?

Also, if anyone has been watchin' there has been a SEVENTH stabfest in China, but this time the dude at least had the common courtesy of attacking grown up folk... It appears they are moving up from attacking kiddies, thankfully. Six gals injured this time, a couple seriously, though...

Oh, and Kwicko? Don't want you thinking I'ma picking on you... (Iremist picks up her sword and quickly chest taps out an old fashion salute, accompanied by a nod of respect) I do appreciate your heavy handed attempt to defend our precious site's honor... Or at least for keeping the craziest among us busily running in circles, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I have low enough blood pressure that I have dizzy and fainting spells, and definitely I have periods where I have a racing heart beat. Sometimes it feels like something catching or stopping in my heart, but the doctors never could find anything.

Mine hasn't lasted for days on end though, that's nuts. Hmm. Do you get enough iron? I hear that lack of iron plus low blood pressure can sometimes cause weird stuff with the heart. It could be something chemical like that, mixed with the seizure problems you said you've had before all the stuff with the naturalistic medicine. What'd you do for the seizures? I'd take that up again, just in case, don't want to end up with a clot or stroke from random electrical firings in the heart muscle. And add some iron supplements. Hopefully that'll help.

What does the pacemaker in the heart work based on? Anything you can throw in there to maybe help regulate it?

Just an extra poke to DT, 'cause I'm not sure who it was I replied to and I wanted him to see my message.

Iremisst, byte

Thaks for the concern, not, it hasn't on gone down. Tachycardia is caused by low blood pressure

The pacemaker of the heart sets its rate according to blood oxygen levels. Bp can also be affected this. The maintenance of a constance blood oxygen is much more of a survival issue than the others, as it can kill you right away, so lter system move to accommodate. They cannot however keep it up long term. You have to find a fix pretty quick to not die of it.

Byte, that sounds problematic.do you get enough exercise?diet issues? If there's a heart issuedpnt do any strenuous exercise, but stay active.

Well, then yeah. I'd still try more iron. Iron is more hemoglobin is higher blood oxygen content.

I dunno about diet. I seem healthy, I'm a healthy weight for my size, and don't have much fat anywhere. Usually it happens when I'm sitting, or I lean over in some way. Then the heart does that whatever thing, and I have to struggle to take in air. Shallow breaths, because it catches every time I inhale, a pretty sharp pain. I force my lungs to expand a little more each time, until finally I can inflate to full capacity, and it goes away. Until the cycle repeats, which can happen a few minutes later.

I would think it's my lungs, except the pain is always around where my heart is.

I've had it for as long as I can remember. About a year ago I was able to exercise regularly, for about 3 hours a week, cardiovascular and endurance. Then I hurt my back, and had to scale back exercise. The frequency of the episodes didn't drop off, though. I'm exercising more, now, and they haven't increased or decreased.

But, I've been living with this for a while, and doctors don't give a shit, and I'm not likely to figure out what it is on my own, so. I'm more concerned about you.

EDIT: Actually, looking up tachycardia to try to find out some possible causes for your symptoms, I stumbled across this gem:

Quote:

Rapidly firing triggers, ("hot spots") often located in the veins that return blood from the lungs to the heart (pulmonary veins) — that cause atrial fibrillation

That would explain a lot. Stupid doctors.

Have you had any infections recently, DT?

Also, cut out sugar and caffeine for a while.

It's also possible it's stress related, you have been under a lot of stress recently.

Oh, no worries, Misty. There's truth in what you posted; Jongsie and I have some old feuds that come up now and again.
