Just watched serenity for the billionth time (its been almost 12 months since i saw it last 
) Surfed the net to see if there had been any talk of a sequel...i know its over just i dont want it to be..

See what happens in 2012 after Joss finishes setting up his personal studio he's working on and the Fox rights to the franchise expire. That's pretty much our best bet at this point, unless the sequels come out in comic book form.
Joss Whedon DID say that if he did a sequel, he'd want to focus on the Shepherd's backstory and Jubal Early.

Do you think if we all searched one phrase such as "Serenity 2" or "Serenity Sequel" enough it would get someone's attention? Every week a new Browncoat shows up here voicing the same old ideas about resurrecting the series and gets shot down because its been tried. What this demonstrates is that we need new ideas to utilize the energy of these new recruits and galvanize the languid existing ranks (which I count myself among).
So how 'bout it? Could we do some kind of google bomb (I'm not even sure that's the right term but, hey, I'm trying here) by having every browncoat google serenity 2 as many times as they can for a single day or something? Maybe once an hour indefinitely? Hey, we did that on the TVVote site and kicked every other show's butt.
And if it wouldn't work, any NEW ideas? Don't worry about sounding silly or getting shot down, let's brainstorm.

I cant even remember when i first joined here. cant believe the years have flown.
i loved the screenings that happened. tho they didnt happen near me and i couldnt get to the ones in my state.
