We pressed images into damp clay tablets, spread them out to dry, then used them as flip-books. Sure was nice when papyrus came around -- no more chipping and a faster action.

I so remember Zoobilee Zoo!
As far as SciFi goes I think what really got me into it was watching Quantum Leap when I was about 12. Still love it, cheese factor and all.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes

Perhaps the best finale for a series - ever.

Bones: "Don't 'rawr' her!"
Booth: "What? she'rawred' me first."

Add Dark Shadows (a "Gothic" themed soap opera)to all those good 60's, 70's and 80's shows.
I would come home after school to watch it and run screaming and even laughing from the room.
And I loved Barnabas Collins. I think he was the first "sympathetic" vampire on TV.

Quote:I thought it was so fake the way a guy would walk behind a tree & be a werewolf emerging from the other side- I wanted to SEE the change!!!!

But I watched it regardless.

I there is something fun about low budget fantasy/Sci Fi.
And I didn't see a guy actually change into a werewolf until "An American Werewolf in London".

Gotta love cheesy SciFi. In "Rocky Jones Space Ranger" they would worry about the fuel it would take to go to Saturn and a few episodes later they would travel to another solar system.
