They're hooking up more surveillance shit, as usual, DT - not like they even bother much to hide it anymore.

I love how Google is trying to put off holding your last six months worth of search history as a "feature" to skew results towards your interests.

But technology is, and always will be, a double edged sword - the more complex they make the machines, the easier it becomes to jam them up.

Jameron, wikipedia Napoleon sometime, then wikipedia the Battle of Stalingrad.

Russia entering Germany first may have been a PR gimmick, but the Russians killed more Germans than anyone, and the two front war was a MAJOR factor in the allies winning WW2. Trying to invade Russia in the winter is pure idiocy, and the Nazis made the same mistake.

Jameron, you REALLY need to study up on the German Eastern Front sometime. You would simply be stunned by what you found out. And you'd be further stunned by the levels of brutality on both sides of the war between the Nazis and the Soviets. And the Soviets killed FAR more Nazi soldiers than the west ever even thought about killing. We're talking HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of German soldiers killed in single battles. We're talking hundreds of thousands CAPTURED, in a strict "no prisoners" conflict between Germany and Russia. What do you suppose happened to those captured Germans?

The Battle of Stalingrad alone devoured more than 850,000 Axis soldiers, among them 400,000 Germans killed or captured. Of that number, fewer than 5000 ever returned to Germany, and many of those only in 1955, after being freed from the Gulags they were held in.

The Western Front NEVER faced "the majority of the German army" once Hitler initiated Operation Barbarossa and invaded Russia.
