As it's a reboot...they have no canon to "trash".

A great Spockism, Crisisright. Logic should have told me that would be your reply.

Whatever DVD you decide to buy will be great. One of the few films I enjoyed this year. I just kept chanting to myself, as I entered the theater, that this will not have William Shatner and everything was fine. It did have Leonard Nimoy, who kept in character. He has his character finely tuned.

I'm watching every sing special feature the day I get it. Even if there is a feature dedicated to Leonard Nimoy napping....I'll watch it.

I'm in too. I saw it on IMAXX 3 times and am looking forward to owning it. I know a lot of true fans didn't like it much(my friends told me so)but I enjoyed it as a stand alone movie.

I'm not a die hard Trekkie despite growing up with it so I saw it as a fun movie too. And it's in the mail from Amazon according to an email I got yesterday.

Yeah my Blu-ray is on it's way here as well. Being UK based we win for once and I should get my 2-Disc version on Monday for £16 . Not braggin' or nuffin'....

I really enjoyed it and consider one of the best summer blockbuster style movies ever. So many of those types of movies have FX and action but little else. This had a decent plot (even with holes), decent acting and was really funny.
