Actually, ILM confirmed it, and posted a pic when it was still in theatres. Still cool though.

Oh, that's a forgone conclusion now. Abrahms was signed to at least produce the sequel over the summer. He still hasn't committed to directing, though.

They mention on the Blu Ray that they plan to do a few, and then, whatever Trek film is the last Bad Robot production - at the end of the movie Porthos (Archer's dog that Scotty "lost") will just materialize out of nowhere.

I keep enjoying it. It keeps sneaking back into my DVD player.
And Bruce Greenwood has progressed nicely since his one-line role in First Blood.
