Oh and might I add that the site does have Universal logo and copyright at the bottom, Universal private policy, and terms of use which resemble the ones at Universalstudios.com.

Hate to be all suspicious and such, but I get spoof e-mail from eBay with all of the proper logos and stuff in it.
Unfortunately you just can't be too careful online these days. Between the gorram government wanting access to your e-mail for "national security" reasons (HA!), and people putting up phoney sites just to get your personal info to sell to spammers, ya just don't know.

Getting a bit technical here. "browncoats" is a subdomain of serenitymovie.com. It doesn't need to be registered. It just needs to be added to Universal's DNS server by their IT guy.

Here's another way of looking at it. If "serenitymovie.com" was a phone number, the "browncoats" part would be an extention.

visually, this would look like this:

serentiymovie.com = 867-5309
browncoats = ext. 123

their DNS server would be their PBX.
