After we hear about how the USPatriot act, snooping etc will continue as before, we just 'happen' to be treated to news of 'terrorism' arrests. Not just Zazi, but Betim Kaziu, Daniel Patrick Boyd and Hysen Sherifi, and twelve unnamed Columbian suspects have all been arrested and charged within the last few weeks.
No mater that these people may or may not have been detected due to the USPatriot Act, the message we are to take home is clear: keep the USPatriot Act or be in danger.
Meanwhile, "Study: Fewer terrorism suspects going to trial. Since 2002, the percentage of terrorism cases that federal prosecutors declined to pursue has grown from 31 percent to 73 percent, the TRAC study found."
