Man Rides Motorbike in Court

Woodstock, IL. Sept. 25 – A Marengo man charged with drunken driving rode his motorbike in court Tuesday, not to it.

Carl Ahrens, 36, said he rode his Razor MX500 from Judge Thomas Meyer’s bench to the back of the courtroom in an effort to prove that the bike was a toy, not a motor vehicle. It operates on a 12-volt battery.

Despite the demonstration, the judge disagreed, and Ahrens’ license was suspended for six months…

Ahrens said he had been sitting on the bike across the street from his house when an officer approached him, likely after a complaint from a neighbor. He said he was placed under arrest, and the bike was placed in the officer’s trunk.

“I can’t believe I’m in this much trouble over a toy,” Ahrens said. “It goes 4 miles an hour. I plug it in overnight.”

You can get a DWI just sitting in your car, drinking a beer with the keys in the ignition. Not running, just having the keys in the ignition. It's called, intent to drive.

Hello,

Fortunately, it sounds as if he won't be needing a license to operate that 'vehicle.' It probably sits below the HP categorization of a motorbike.

Lawyers agree, if you sleep in a car, take keys out of the ignition and get in the back seat. But then you're at risk of being carjacked and murdered.

You dont need to drink any alcohol nor eat any drugs to be convicted of drunk driving. It's called "DUI by Consent", and includes passengers and "drivers" who were never even in the car, common with spouses when the vehicle is registered to the other spouse who was not driving.

Prosecutors brag its easier to convict an innocent person than a guilty one. Charges are never dismissed (willingly) against innocent defendants, for risk of being sued for false arrest (unless the cop is fired for crimes to insulate the gubmit).

Sheeple trust gubmit to tell the truth, and gubmit laffs all the way to their foreign banks.

There's no such thing as a "passing score" for blood-alcohol tests, since a person is already under arrest for DUI before the test is given. 1,000s of chemicals cause false postive on DUI tests. Dieting causes false positive. Diseases like diabetes cause false postitive, and are a common cause of DUI arrests and murders by police in jail by denial of all food, water and medical care. SCAM.

"Field Sobriety Tests" cannot be passed by any sober person, since the "rules" are just made up (which is why no law requires taking one, and no lawyer advises volunteering for one). SCAM.

ANY "confession" to one sip of alcohol in 24 hours is "confession" to DUI, same for ANY "confession" of legal drugs including OTC. ANY "confession" to eating dinner at a restaurant that serves alcohol is "confession" to DUI (that's why cops want mandatory videocams in all restaurants and bars).

There's not enough drunk drivers to make money on, so the other 99% of drivers are fair game for the slave plantation. Traffic cops are merely armed robbers, kidnappers and serial killers, and many like to rape during traffic stops and make police porn videos with their official in-car videocams.

Public speaking is often cited as the scariest thing anyone can do. Defending yourself pro se in traffic court multiplies that by 1,000, with cops literally shooting defendants in traffic court, liek the fire chief in Arkansas shot in the a$$ for complaining in court about 2 tickets in one day.

But nobody fights back until they get mad enough. So maybe its a good thing the Police State is manufacturing 10s of millions of angry citizens.

"Strictly speaking, a driver can register a BAC of 0.00% and still be convicted of a DUI. The level of BAC does not clear a driver when it is below the 'presumed level of intoxication.'"

"One of the major defects in many methods of blood-alcohol analysis is the failure to identify ethanol to the exclusion of all other chemical compounds. Thus a client with other compounds in his blood or breath may have a high 'blood-alcohol' reading with little or no ethanol in his body. If you look at the warranties - it is sort of interesting - none of the breath machine manufacturers warrant these things to actually test blood alcohol."

"Nancy Benoit also had a blood alcohol reading of .184, although Sperry said the blood alcohol and drug levels could be affected by the decomposition of her body. 'These (blood alcohol) results are not reliable for interpretation because the amount of alcohol in her system could have all come from the decomposition.'"
—Cindy Morley, Fayette Daily News, GBI: Chris Benoit's son was full of Xanax, July 18, 2007

"The only reliable test for blood alcohol from a corpse is by drawing the blood directly from the interior chambers of the heart. Otherwise the blood can be contaminated with stomach and intestinal contents from ingested alcohol. This is especially true for crash victims."
