Another riddle for the peeps of hiding.

Q: If a squirrel, a mongoose, and a wildebeest walk into a bar how can the nun avoid it.

A: She's a duck.

Life's little lessons.

Okay, so I was cleaning the toilet and ended up flushing a j-cloth. Suddenly dysfunctional toilet. I phoned the building superintendent, that's what they're for, right? Right... they call a plumber.

At Sunday night rates, this ought to be another little yet undoubtedly expensive life lesson in paying attention to what one is doing. Clearly I should have been flushing the j-cloth on a Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Plumbing never seems to happen when it's convenient.

But this only applies if the bar is horizontal, my good man.

What if it's veritcal?

My turn . . .

Q: What do you call a dog with no legs?

A: It doesn't matter because it won't come anyway.

It's thursday morning and I'm not quite awake. Weatherman said foggy but it aint. Stupid weatherman. Saw the House season opener last night (time shifting) it was a good episode but I'm not sure if I'll be watching the show much if House isn't being a jerk to everybody. That's the whole reason for watching that show.

I had pancakes with Maple Syrup. First time I have ever had maple Syrup, it tastes like honey. I knew it would, one comes from a tree, one comes from a Bees bum.

Maple syrup has never tasted like honey to me. Honey is yummy. Maple is just too, too sweet.

I have to wonder if you have ever had the REAL stuff, as opposed to mass-market, caramel-colored, high-fructose corn syrup with a maple leaf waved over the top.

Wonder no more. Maple syrup - the real stuff - is too sweet. It's ok strait from the tap (yes I have had raw maple sap strait from the tree) but most people boil it down too much. Ugh.
