I'm not going either, it's bad luck to speak ill of the dead. So it's best I stay far away from Teddy's wake. I'll want to piss on is casket and laugh my ass off during the service. I would yell, to bad you can't say hi to Mary Jo, because you'll be in HELL you drunken perv!!! Good riddance, you've caused alot of damage to this country and people around you

But then we can't expect decency out of everyone, can we?

Just to put in a good word: I admired a LOT of what Ted Kennedy did; he had a lot to do with improving this country and giving equality to those who deserve it.

He affected me personally by his work on the Americans With Disabilities Act, as I'm disabled. Even if it wasn't only to cover their asses (which I don't think it was), it made it so that the last good job I had after diagnosis, treated me very decently and allowed me to take care of my disability so I could give them my best.

Kennedy did many things that wouldn't have happened without him, and I respect him for them, whatever I may feel about him personally. It's awfully easy to hate those in public life when we disagree with them, but hey, what have YOU done to improve the country or government lately?

No one would care if I dropped dead, I'm a nobody. Kennedy did alot of damage to alot of people.

He also did a lot of good for millions of people, much the same can be said of any President.

It's easy to hate, and not see beyond it. It's harder to see the greys.

I also wonder, despite what his people said, how much Bush Sr. not showing up might have had to do with his feelings about Bush Jr.? From what I hear, he's not too "proud" of sonny boy--tho' it's more likely the reason everyone supposes.

That pic is Bush 41. Bush always puts his one hand in his pocket through out his life. In the movie The Good Shepherd the dude in the trench coat that talks about the zapata list is Bush. Zapata is the oil company that Bush owned that now is now Penzoil. Hell Jack Ruby and General Lansdale have a pic in Dealy Plaza. I mean Nixon was in town and so many others. It's like everybody knew but JFK.
