The pancake horsies are masters of the defense mechanism of LOLcute. On the wild Serengeti natural predators such as the ham steak and the sausage patty hunt with ruthless efficiency until they are confronted with the pancake horses frolicking about the range. When a predator is confronted with, for instance, a pancake horse posing in an adorable manner with a caption featuring cutely ungrammatical structure and cleverly adorable spelling mistakes the involuntary reaction of "Awwwww" gives the pancakes just enough time to escape to frolic another day.
